Music supervision class at acm@uco
In the spring semester of 2023, after finishing my associate in Music Business, I took a class from Geoff Kock called Music Supervision. The class taught us what it means to have this position in the film industry and all the responsibilities that come with it. Included are my favorite pieces that I created for assignments throughout the semester. All audio except dialogue was removed from clips given to us by the professor; our job was to find music and sound effects and place them accordingly.

On October 3rd, 2023, I got the opportunity to do something I had only dreamed of since starting in the entertainment industry. The host of the Red Brick Rebellion show, Arya Rebellious, is someone I have worked with backstage in the past and am currently working with on artist development for her ongoing career and dream of being a part of Ru Paul’s Drag Race one day.
Blue Note
In November of 2022, I was offered a position as an intern at a live venue bar in OKC called Blue Note. Under the direction of the venue’s booker/promoter, Jon Jackson, I assisted in promotion work as well as getting the opportunity to shadow Jon during events. I got to see how various situations and variables should be handled before, during, and after a live show while maintaining a positive connection with performers.

As part of the concert and tour management class I took in the fall semester of 2022, we as a class hosted 2 main events. For this event, we coordinated 4 acts of emo era nostalgia and advertised for Halloween. This show was open to the public with a $5 cover that went to the free coffee bar. We had great turn out and it was a fantastic show.

As part of the concert and tour management class I took in the fall semester of 2022, we as a class hosted 2 main events. For this event we put out a sign up sheet and crafted a relaxed cozy study night show for ACM students only. A good handful of students attended, but none got much studying done, as they were captivated by their peers performance before them.

In the fall semester of 2021, I took a class from Travis Tester called applied new media. In this class, we learned the basics of video editing. This class was also about exploring new techniques for video and photo editing. We would find interesting graphics and clips from social media and reverse engineer to figure out the process together as a class.

In the fall semester of 2021, I took a class from Travis Tester called music and media. This class taught me the basics of photoshop and a variety of different ways texture, shade, and animate pictures.
el reno’s first drag show @ vices 10.9.2021
I made friends with a group of drag performers in the fall of 2021 and quickly gained respect and trust from them. One such performer, Lucki Royal, who frequented this bar in their hometown of El Reno, hosted the very first drag show in the history of the town. This was a big show with 6 performers and several sets, so Lucki recruited several stage hands for the show including myself.
